Commercial Director
This position requires excellent management skills, international and national sales experience, someone that is highly organized, motivated and enthusiastic and is looking for a long term commitment. Vancouver Island based leading international supplier of specialty equipment for supermarket merchandising and refrigeration seeks a capable manager with at least 5 years experience in a similar capacity to be trained and to lead and implement a sales and marketing plan directed at resellers and end users of such products globally.

The following would be considered valuable assets for such a position:

  • Experience in distribution of commercial equipment through a network of international resellers
  • International sales experience
  • Managing sales organizations
  • High academic education, particularly in business, marketing and finance
  • Technical , manufacturing or engineering competency and experience
  • Understanding and experience in e-commerce
  • Capacity and experience to formulate and implement business plans
  • Management style of service leader
  • To be a team and relationship builder both internally and externally and have excellent leadership skills
  • Experience in the supermarket equipment business, refrigeration or lighting industry.
  • Business experience managing Sales or Marketing, or as General Manager
  • Capability to work with people of different cultures and to cultivate a culture of trust.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and to identify opportunities for improved over all performance.
  • Knowledge of various distribution systems, including on line and E-commerce and the ability to implement different pricing strategies
  • Setting performance criteria, measurable objectives, and tracking results compared to objectives.
  • Ability to define roles, accountability and responsibilities for all team members.
  • Setting performance based remuneration system that rewards growth and excellence.

    Graphic Designer - Part-time
    We are looking for someone with graphic design experience to join our team and support our Internet Marketing and Graphics department. This is a part-time, office position.

    Duties would include:
    • Design new media and graphics materials (e-newsletters, sales presentations, training modules, brochures, flyers, sales marketing materials, emailers, trade show banners, landing pages etc...) br>
      Skills: Photoshop, FTP software HTML, CSS Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator PowerPoint Dreamweaver Flash

      Ideal applicant is a multi-tasker and works well under pressure. Must be able to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, follow requirements for graphic design, and work well independently and as part of a team.

      The successful applicant will be able to identify new marketing areas and methods and develop new media tools for sales and marketing. Good communication skills and a great attitude are a must.

      SALES PROFESSIONAL
      SALES PROFESSIONAL We are currently seeking a full time experienced sales professional to sell our Promolux (www.promolux.com ) line of Food display case lighting in North America.

      The ideal candidate must have excellent computer skills, be able to travel and attend trade shows and is familiar with distributor networks. Preference will be given to candidates with technical skills in related industries .We are a leader in specialty lighting and supermarket refrigeration, exporting 90% sales worldwide.

      Training will be given to the right person but we require someone who is a self starter, has excellent writing and telephone skills, be familiar with various software programs such as Maximizer or similar database, as well as Power Point, Outlook etc.

      Video Multi-media Marketing Specialist
      We are looking for someone with video editing and design experience (new media/multi-media, digital marketing) and graphic design experience to join our team and support our Internet Marketing and Graphics department. We are located in Shawnigan Lake and would prefer to hire someone locally to work at our office.

      Duties would include:
    • Design new media and graphics materials for online interactivity (videos - sales and training presentations, marketing materials, screen captures, animations, portfolio management)

      Skills:
    • Photoshop, Adobe Professional/Adobe CS3 or CS5 , PowerPoint, Flash, Screencast, MovieMaker, Sony Vegas....
